I doubt we make it in the music city bowl, but I like his idea. I understand that once people purchase tickets they are free to do with them as they please, but I wish they would have kept the tickets in the Auburn family. War Eagle Always!
This goes out to Make Edwards Morris… First off I can understand you frustration for auburn students selling their tickets to Alabama fans but for you to be be disrespectful to All the Alabama fans for wearing their colors and calling other opponents clad miscreants along with referring to Alabama fans as Cletus and basically calling Alabama fans imbreds just goes to show you have no class and are very disrespectful… Your Shirt classmates wanted to make money buy selling their tickets it just so happened theybsold them to Alabama fans… Your lack of sportsmanship and being classes just goes to show how that their are fans out there that have no respect for other human beings even of they are rooting for another team
Cletus, is that you? :P
Well if Bama fans are inbred, then I’m pretty sure that Auby fans would be too, seeing as we pretty much choose sides right outta the womb. So I’m guessing Bubba’s open letter was because he still salty that sista chose the smarter brother. Perhaps he should learn a little more than his colors.
We all know people aren’t born that way! Their decision to be a Bammer is based solely off of low I.Q., copious amounts of processed meats (spam, potted meat, ect.), and cheap beer.
lololol….and if you knew how butt ugly his site is…
butthurt and butt ugly
He writes all that while holding a bottle of Spike 80, and simultaneously tea-bagging a corn dog.
Its comments like these (from people who most likely didn’t attend the schools) that give Alabama and Auburn fans a bad name. And clearly this kid is not from Alabama or has many friends that are. Because as a student who actually attends the University of Alabama, I have no problem with Auburn students sitting in our section. Some of my best friends go to Auburn, and about a quarter of my high school class does. Yeah I “hate” Auburn, but I love the people that go there. I mean come on people this is supposed to be a friendly rivalry, its not like we are talking about LSU here.
“Cletus, is that you? :P”
wish we had like buttons
Coonass, is that you?
Bubba, lemme borrow your tractor, boots and straw hat so I can go plow a field…..you cow college hillbilly, knuckle draggin, dip spittin, sister datin, bull ridin, truck lift heehaws Need to wear your overalls so your butthurt is less. Cry babies. The barn has won 2 put of last 12 SEC games….bahahah
Felt the same way.
Shut up, Cletus.
That 271 yards is hard to swallow, isn’t it, Leroy?!!
I’m surprised you can sit down with so much butthurt.
So do they fail to realize that why they keep saying inbreeds that they are in the same state
Barn turds get confused easily. After all he can’t keep his mind of his goat long enough to realize that.
Ya know, I have no problem with a cow humper calling us Inbred, Its called friendly trash talk, and its what makes this rivalry great, and he does have a point, a damn good one at that. That is a HUGE no no at any school, if your not a student, or die hard fan of the home team, stay out of the student section, Idk why any of my fellow Bammers would wanna sit among a bunch of cow humping tree huggers.
I suggest you, and any bama fan that does not like agriculture, dairy, flora, and fauna give up all that – i.e., put your money where your mouth is. You know, in your sister’s ear.
Moooo
This goes out to Make Edwards Morris… First off I can understand you frustration for auburn students selling their tickets to Alabama fans but for you to be be disrespectful to All the Alabama fans for buying these wearing their colors and calling other opponents clad miscreants along with referring to Alabama fans as Cletus and basically calling Alabama fans imbreds just goes to show you have no class and are very disrespectful… Your Shirt classmates wanted to make money buy selling their tickets it just so happened they sold them to Alabama fans… Your lack of sportsmanship and being classles just goes to show how that their are fans out there that have no respect for other human beings even of they are rooting for another team it’s time to grow up and be a man.. There where plenty of Alabama and auburn fans sitting together and I havnt seen one other post about how any of these fans where disrespectful to one another on either fan base besides you… It’s not your place to disrespect your classmates for selling there tickets it happens all the time at every college football stadium across the country so shoe show some respect and if you can’t seem to do that maybe you should sit at the house and watch it on your TV. To me you are one classless disrespectful human being and gives fan bases a bad name… Have a nice day and Happy Holidays… From an Alabama fan….
….and stop double posting, Cletus.
Tissue, You are a Jack Wagon!!! No wonder Auburn Fabs sell there tickets, true Auburn fans, I would sell my tickets to if I had to set by you. Embarrassment, learn humility.
Learn English before trying to give people your unwanted quips of wisdom.
Embarrassment? LOL. Guess theys don’ts teech no speeling or gramma at tuscaloser no more, huh?
Another but hurt Auburn fan… Take your last ride on the Gus short bus…
‘but hurt’ lol
Must have taken you hours to come up with that come back. College money well spent!
One thing is for sure, this student didn’t major in journalism. Comparing, even loosely, Alabama fans to puppy kickers and crack addicts is ignorant, uncalled for, and just plain sour grapes. The Auburn fans that erred by selling those tickets should be the ones on the receiving end of poorly written comparisons.
You know, I’ve seen the same thing in the Alabama student section. Unlike Mark Edward Morris, there are students in the world who have very good friends that go to other schools, and those are the ones who usually end up in his “hallowed” student section. That’s how I got into the Texas A&M game in 2013. This may also be a shocker to Mark, but there are students in the world who have to pay for their own stuff, and football tickets can be very valuable. I know it sucks to see the opposition in your most passionate portion of the stadium, but sometimes you have to hold your tongue and move on. If not, you riskbeing called a disrespectful cry-baby (see Rod Bramblett and Stan White).
This proves without a doubt just how ignor ant auburn fans are. This bonehead totally Tried to belittle US Bama winners by showing how bigoted he is. Look son WE, Bama fans accept you and yours as our step-sibling, be happy for even the smaller things in life. Life is too short to have such harsh feelings. You will be 50 before you know it and have to live off machines. I once read the cow milking machine in your science labs and dorm rooms can be used for non pleasure seeking things like heart pumps. It was published in your schools Friday Night Party magazine. In that issue it stated that the new policy is no more goats in dorm rooms and dining areas. They are tired of students and dates not being properly attired. Mini skirts on goats are so 60’s it stated. It is a really informative magazine for the students.
If you want to belittle someone please improve your grammar first. Auburn fan’s have no desire to be your step-siblings, it only makes us worried you will try to crawl in our beds at night. Also I can only assume that by writing hateful things about Auburn students and in the same post saying he is “bigoted” and telling him not to have harsh feelings was an attempt at irony. He did not call Alabama fans puppy kickers or crack addicts, but he did use metaphors. If those hit a little too close to home that is your problem.
“please improve your grammar first. Auburn fan’s have no desire to be your step-siblings”
That should be “fans,” plural, rather than “fan’s,” possessive. I’ll give you a pass on the numerous missing commas and the questionable sentence structure, but that one was unforgivable.
AMEN!
Need some Aloe for that serious burn.
Where is the double like button?
Ooh, grammar nazis out on both sides. You need to go back and fix all the errors in the post by Lon1952. No wait, that would take all night.
However, I notice you did not contest the *facts* in the post by Weagle….
It’s hard for that barn bumpkin to type and tap that goat at the same time.
Speaking of improving your grammar, a little grammar check on your end would have been useful when reading your comment. Using the word also as the first word in a sentence would require a (,) after it. Also, your run-on sentence definitely needs improving. A comma is a very powerful punctuation tool, you might want to learn to use it before making any more comments about others grammar.
Dang, barner. You should of used a spell checker before posting you’re message. Maybe we isn’t so different after all. Remember comma splices dont make you look intelligent, they make you look silly when criticizing grammer. Auburn fans who can’t write spell or put together a complete thought. Makes me sad to let them share our state. Eat mor chikin, cow college boy……………..[sic]
Tommy boy, how could you? What a mess. Where to start?
“You should *have* used”…
“you’re”? No, it is your.
“we isn’t”? Surely you can do better.
“grammer”? It is, of course, grammar (even the spell checker here got it right).
“Auburn fans who can’t write spell or put together a complete thought.” Of course, that is not a complete sentence, much less a complete thought.
As to your last comment – I suggest you forgo all agriculture products, except the bull byproducts.
Doc, you missed my comma splice and necessary commas after “write” and “spell”. Come on, yore better than that! ;-)
This one guy, who made a post on his Facebook page directed at other Auburn fans, “proves without a doubt just how ignorant auburn fans are?” Really? So what did Harvey Updyke (tree killer), Brian Downing (teabagger), or Adrian Laroze Briskey (murderer) prove about ua fans?
Alabama fans should never, ever generalize any other fanbase based on the actions of an individual. Those three are the worst examples of any fanbase and the belong to the tide.
Idk, right now Will Muskrat and Goose Malfunction mimic Dumb and Dumber numerous xs more than Harvey Updike. You’re a lesbian or is your butt still hurting?
Some butt hurt auburn folks.. Go pet muschump before he has a heart attack!!!
Barn bumpkins cry like babies!
Another delusional Auburn student in need a grammar lesson. The hilarity of it is the high horse these hicks are on about being superior in intellect to Alabama people. Each fan base has it’s share of mouth breathers and maybe Alabama has more but if that’s true it’s only because most people like to win. Even rednecks named “Cleetus”
Of
Need a grammar lesson? Did they stop doing remedial grammar at UAT?
There are so many other half way decent ways you could of made your point without putting down other human beings. Pretty sad.
That’s what the stepchildren do.
What – you mean Tmb0227 putting someone down – since that is what he did.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen this many sensitive Alabama fans in my life… Someone should make a website for you guys called cant-takeajoke.com. I’m just wondering how many more Alabama fans he will troll by the end of the week… And yes I was at the game and saw great sportsmanship from auburn fans. I graduated in Dec 2010, and this was my last student ticket as a graduate student. I tend to leave the student section for the ramp under the flagpole to hang with my non-student friends and I will say that your band is perplexing. Why they play songs when you lose yardage or go three and out is beyond me. Do they always play so often :)
Yes they do
Typical Bammers. They always have to hear themselves.
He says as he posts all up and down this article. Don’t have a mirror in that glass trailer of yours?
Typical Barners, always talking about Bama…
Right, since this is an Auburn thread about Auburn students. Typical bammers, always talking about Auburn.
…an Auburn thread on an article about an Auburn student talking about Bama.
He talks about tacky clothing, but in one of his profile pictures he can be seen sporting a casual polo button down with a tie and a sport coat. Okay, Mark.
This is garbage. I was in the student section, and it wasnt that bad at all! I was hoping this article was posted to praise the student section for staying until the very end and singing the fight song well after the end of the game despite a 6-6 season, but instead it’s to dog a few Auburn fans with friends at the other school in the state that decided to come along to the game. The students should be praised for how they acted, not scolded right now. War Eagle to them and always!
Instead of moaning incoherently about who is sitting where in the stadium, perhaps Auburn students should be discussing what happened to their field at Jordan-Hare. Did you see all that slipping? Kinda strange in a dry period, wouldn’t you say? So the question is this: who ordered the field to be watered the night before the Iron Bowl? And does that explain why Auburn consistently tried running between the tackles, in order to avoid wild cuts that might make their own backs slip?
As Bear Bryant once said, the biggest change needed in college football is to make Auburn stop cheating. Still hasn’t happened.
Total BS. Bear also said he would “never lose” to Auburn again. He did.
I suppose you never heard of things like weather, rain, dew, watering in a dry period, you know what I mean? Of course Auburn would soak the field since they pretty much rely on a running attack. Of course.
And we all know that the coaches and players would never figure out the field conditions until well after the game……
Wow – you guys are the moaners.
Amen
A description of the setting of the Auburn student that wrote the open letter to the student body: Written sipping a wine spritzer in an orange and blue snuggie as sad, salty tears drip on his tattered keyboard where all the keys work…but the W-D-&E buttons are worn away to the point of not being able to read them, sitting beneath a Bo Jackson-Cam Newton-Pat Sullivan-Pat Dye Mount Rushmoresque mural, reminiscing yesteryear and the happy times of Auburn not always being the “Kentucky of the West” whilst YouTube videos stream “Bo Over The Top” and “Kick 6” playing lilting melodies that give this cow college attending young man, just enough confidence to wake up and still attend his Goat Wrasslin 101 Theory class this morning on the hallowed grounds of the somber Auburn University as Iron Bowl losers shuffle about sadly strolling by a Toomer’s Corner devoid of celebratory TP…. whispering War Damn, and I believe in Auburn and love it….
We do “Believe in Auburn, and Love It.”
What do bama students do when you lose to Auburn? You should know, Auburn still leads the series since it went to home-and-home.
I think you’re missing the point. You don’t begrudge any student’s capitalistic endeavors, but yet you want to keep the tickets in the Aubrens fambly. Did you ever consider that no one from the fambly wants to pay money to watch the dumpster fire that is the Gus Bus? Perhaps they got more money from people who wanted to watch their team WIN. I can see how that eluded you — something tells me lots eludes you there, Ace. Also, charge your phone, Jackwagon.
Typical butt hurt comments from the cow college fans. Sorry your team, coaches and players were so pathetic and will likely end up a a low level Christmas day bowl game that you were fortunate to barely get invited to. That’s what you get for hiring a high school level head coach and a psychopath as the defensive coach. On the plus side you can now go back to working on your farm and tending to your sheep and cows.
29-13. Stay salty little brother.
If you don’t sell crack to crack addicts, who the hell are you supposed to sell it to?
was thinking the same thing. jaja
the cops, preferably. that way we get rid of the crack dealer.
People pay money for a good product. Auburn didn’t have one this year and it’s understandable for Alabama fans to enjoy sitting in the student section and bask in their misery. Simply put. Auburn needs a better product to sell and the students will buy it. Right now, it’s just a yard sale as the dumpster fire is being put out.
1-800-WAAAAAA
Did we expect anything more than sore loser posts from these sensitive morons? Better luck next year. I guess you guys need the ticket money more than ole Cletus and cuz. Or maybe just the fact that you are one of the worst teams in the sec deters you from still supporting your team. Saad sad fans indeed.
Stay classy, Auburn.
South Carolina doesn’t allow anyone without a student id into the student section. Solves 95% of the problem.
Unless they have changed the way student tickets are issued at Auburn since I graduated, it is the same policy there. All student tickets are actually tied to your student ID. Granted, they might not be very strict about validating your identity, but it is the same concept. If you sell your ticket you would need to get a new ID card afterwards.
Absolutely uncalled for letter, showing a lot of disrespect and ignorance. HOWEVER, this does not represent the entire auburn fan base, as some people are trying to say. Just as the updyke’s and the tea-bagger don’t represent all Alabama fans. Come on, guys, show some class and don’t link the obvious outliers of a fan base to the fan base in general. As Alabama fans, y’all should know better and how idiotic the fringe fans can be. Good game, auburn. See y’all next year.
Thank you for this comment. It was a much better game than anticipated. If it wasn’t for the rivalry the game wouldn’t matter anyways! If only everyone from both sides could be as respectful.
Yeah… We don’t got that problem at The Citadel. It’s pretty simple. We don’t got tickets for the student section. All Cadets are required to attend home games and only members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and certain school officials are allowed to sit in the student section (with the exception that seniors are allowed to have dates).
Sitting here reading these posts is very amusing to me. Both Alabama and Auburn fan’s going back and forth over all of this makes me laugh. Oh, I also think it makes other people across the nation laugh as well. This why rest of the country laughs at and pokes fun of the south, especially all of us who live in Alabama. You all make me proud.
Josh is a Bama alum/fan.
Josh sees something posted by an opposing team’s fan meant to troll or ridicule.
Josh keeps scrolling and moves on with his life.
All of Alabama knows where the sick, depraved and incestuous fans originate from. Poor Georgians having to put up with the stench of that ‘lil podunk town. You ‘lil ingrate’s, If it wasn’t for the Great Paul “Bear” Bryant, that cow pasture and ant studying tech school would’ve never become a University. Enjoy the loss, you’ve got a lot more to come. RTR
Are all Alabama fans so humorless or only the ones who prowl comments sections? You guys won … you are the likely next National Champions and Henry is the likely next Heisman winner. What do you have to be upset about? You can’t endure obvious trolling from opposing fans? “Classless! Uncalled for! Disrespectful!” Ye gods, crawl back into your safe spaces if you can’t take a joke.
#AuburnSucksElephantTrunks
Cry barners cry
Music City Bowl?! Dream on Aubie, you’re headed to Birmingham!
Auburn is like the Summer in Alabama…no class
The really funny thing about this is I was at that game. And not the first auburn fan said a thing about it to our faces. Real tuff finger warrior. Why didn’t you stand up and be a man? Now the whole country can see what kind of man you are. Oh and I’ll be there next year too. If you grow a spine by then, feel free to comment to my face next year. Week school, week students.
Of course, Bama fans would direct the same “cousin marrying” language at Auburn fans, I mean, after all, we all know Auburn fans are a lower socioeconomic group than Bama fans, but I digress, the real issue here is I can’t blame auburn fans for not wanting to take the torture of watching Auburn play.
The title of the post and the first line of the subject “letter” makes it clear this is to Auburn fans. Alabama fans are so jealous of us, they just can’t stay out of these threads. Very sad, indeed. Maybe they are really Auburn fans.
There are good fans at both schools, but the ones from bama are mostly not in this thread.
It is obvious very few “bammers” posting here have any sense of humor and even fewer have an understanding of the tradition of the Auburn-Alabama game.
Auburn is not the little sister – we gained University status in spite of bama politicians trying to kill us.
In addition to the schools of agriculture and veterinary medicine, Auburn has other fine schools that outrank their counterparts at UA (if they have one).
If you don’t like agriculture, avoid all food and dairy products.
The game was not played for decades not out of fear on anyone’s part, but because the schools could not agree on per diem and selection of officials.
While Alabama currently leads the series, it has not always been that way, and will not necessarily continue. Both sides have had streaks and I see Auburn coming back with their own.
Be careful what you wish on others, because it may be coming your way instead.
Part of it is because threads like this are also linked by SDS on their Alabama facebook page, so you click on it to read it and don’t realize you’re on the auburn forums.
Bro, charge your phone.
Are there student tickets available for the Magic City Bowl? Need to hurry up and buy them all up before the Hoover High fans get them.
Mark’s attitude is why the Legion Field setting was so unique for the Iron Bowl, that being a 50/50 split in fan base. His attitude toward visiting fans, I believe, is shared by many Auburn fans and that is based on some I know personally. That is exactly why I have never/will never set foot on any athletic event in Auburn. I respect the rivalry but I am too old to worry about having to fight my way home.
