Auburn hero Chris Davis tweets heartfelt farewell to play-by-play man Rod Bramblett

Auburn play-by-play broadcaster Rod Bramblett and his wife, Paula, were killed in a car accident on Saturday evening, sending the Tiger family into mourning.

Bramblett has called almost all of Auburn’s iconic moments since 2003, with the 2013 Iron Bowl victory being one of the biggest.

Now, former Auburn DB Chris Davis has sent a message of condolence. As you can see below, he paid tribute to the man who helped immortalize his incredible 109-yard return of a missed field goal against Alabama:

Davis echoes all SEC fans on this sad day. Rest in peace, Rod and Paula.
