Less than two weeks ago, 4-star 2021 PG Daeshun Ruffin announced he was committing to Auburn and coach Bruce Pearl.
However, it appears the No. 1 player from Mississippi is going to take a little bit more time with this important decision.
As you can see below, Ruffin announced via his Instagram on Saturday that he was re-opening his recruitment and considering other options:

Per the 247Sports composite, Ruffin is the No. 7 point guard in the 2021 class and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
Auburn is among the teams facing penalties from the NCAA. It’s unclear if that played into Ruffin’s decision to decommit, but he may want to wait and see how that plays out before he makes a final decision.
