After Auburn lost star G Mustapha Heron this offseason, there was an opening in the Tigers’ backcourt for the 2018-19 season.

Now, the Tigers have filled that hole, dipping into the junior college ranks to land J’Von McCormick, a talented scorer out of Lee College in Texas.

As you can see in the post below, McCormick announced his decision on Instagram on Tuesday evening:

McCormick averaged 18.5 points, 6.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game while playing in 28 contests for Lee College last year.

McCormick will be eligible to play right away, and he’ll join a backcourt that includes returning starters Jared Harper and Bryce Brown.
