After losing guys like Derrick Brown, Marlon Davidson and Nick Coe this offseason, the Auburn Tigers needed to reload along the defensive line.

On Sunday, they took a big step toward doing just that, landing the top JUCO defensive end in the 2020 class.

As you can see below, it was announced on Sunday afternoon that 4-star DE Deandre Butler would be attending Auburn this fall:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Butler is the No. 7 overall JUCO player in the 2020 class, the No. 1 strong-side defensive end and the No. 3 JUCO prospect from Georgia. He played at Independence Community College the past couple of years.

The Tigers now have 25 players in their 2020 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 7 in the nation and No. 5 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
