Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers are off to a hot start this year, and they’ve done it without star forward Allen Flanigan.

Flanigan has been recovering from an Achilles injury, but he’s expected to be able to return to the court before SEC play.

On Tuesday, Pearl gave the latest update on Flanigan, saying the team is still hoping for a mid-December return for the talented scorer:

Flanigan averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game last season, starting all 27 games for the Tigers.

If he can get back up to full speed before SEC play tips off, the Tigers will become even more dangerous moving forward.
