Cam Coleman met with reporters in Auburn on Monday afternoon ahead of the Tigers’ Iron Bowl matchup this weekend.

Coleman was not on the team last season when the Tigers nearly upset Alabama at Jordan-Hare, but he still spoke about wanting to avenge last season’s heart-breaking loss to the Tide for the players who endured it.

“Really, [it’s] a revenge tour,” Coleman said. “We’re going into their place … we’re just really gonna go in their crib and just take over and have fun while we’re doing it. It’s some of the last memories that we make with each other so we’re going to make it a memorable game.”

Coleman had plenty of hype in the offseason as a 5-star prospect and has largely lived up to some lofty expectations as a true freshman. He enters this weekend with 520 receiving yards so far this season, which is second on the team.

Coleman is also coming off of back-to-back 100+ yard games for the first time in his young career.

The young wideout is not the only Auburn freshman who seems comfortable speaking openly about this rivalry game. Linebacker DeMarcus Riddick also made headlines on Monday after declaring he will never lose to Alabama as long as he’s with the Tigers.

Auburn has not won in Tuscaloosa since 2010. Kickoff on Saturday is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
