Cam Coleman scores 63-yard TD to give Auburn commanding lead over Texas A&M
Cam Coleman is leading Auburn’s upset effort against Texas A&M on Saturday night.
Auburn already had a 7-0 lead over the Aggies when Payton Thorne found the freshman superstar for a 63-yard touchdown pass to make it 14-0.
Here’s a replay of Thorne’s inch-perfect deep ball:

Coleman entered the 2024 season with plenty of hype as an incoming freshman, he has really emerged as Auburn’s top option in the passing game over the past few weeks. He had 8 catches for 100 yards and 3 touchdowns in Auburn’s win over Louisiana-Monroe this past weekend.
Even as Coleman has been eased into the offense, he’s arguably been Auburn’s second-best wide receiver so far this season behind Ke’Andre Lambert-Smith. He entered Week 13 with 23 catches for 392 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Auburn is looking to play spoiler vs. Texas A&M on Saturday night. The Aggies still have a chance at the College Football Playoff if they win out, but a loss would likely end those hopes.
The Tigers, meanwhile, need to win out in order to reach the postseason at all in 2024. Auburn is 4-4 on the season and will finish their 2024 campaign with a matchup against Alabama next weekend.
Tamu screwed up. They didn’t jump on AU quickly and let the evil spirits get involved. AU is up 21-0 and it is going to be tough for TAMU to come back against AU and the evil spirits.
Oh well.
I believe Auburns punter has money bet on this game
I said the same thing to my brother.
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE AUBURNS ABILITY TO SCREW UP AND BLOW A LEAD
For once they jumped way out, lost their way, came back, held on, and rallied for a big win.
