Former Georgia basketball guard K.D. Johnson announces transfer to Auburn

KD Johnson is staying in the SEC.
The departing Georgia Bulldog announced his transfer commitment to Auburn on Wednesday via his Twitter account.
From Virginia, Johnson was rated 4-stars and in the top 100 prospects nationally in the class of 2020 on the 247Sports Composite.
As a freshman, Johnson appeared in 16 games last season, all off the bench, after missing the first 10 games of the season due to a reported academic issue. He averaged 13.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.2 assists over 22.5 minutes per game.
