Former UMass OT Jack Driscoll announced Wednesday that he was committing to Auburn.

Driscoll is a graduate transfer and will be eligible immediately, thus boosting Auburn’s offensive line in 2018. He shared the news from his Twitter account.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle is from Madison, Connecticut, started 12 games for UMass in 2017, and he should compete for a starting position for the Tigers’ unit. He chose Auburn over UCLA and USC, among others.

Driscoll was a 2-star prospect exiting high school but blew into an All-Independent first-team selection, and he’ll have two years to play two seasons.
