With Auburn travelling to Oxford to take on Ole Miss on Saturday, Gus Malzahn provided updates on the health of running back Shaun Shivers and defensive end Big Kat Bryant.

Shivers, out of the lineup since the first game of the season against Kentucky, will be available for the Tigers, Malzahn shared on the weekly “Tiger Talk” radio show. Shivers had 6 carries for 29 yards before exiting the game against the Wildcats back on Sept. 26.

Malzahn was optimistic that Bryant would be available to play at full strength as well. While the senior was on the field for the loss at South Carolina, an ankle injury has hindered his progress throughout the year. However, the Auburn coach said that Bryant “is closer to full-speed”.

The Tigers will be looking to bounce back from an upset loss against the Gamecocks and jump back over the .500 mark with a victory over the Rebels on the road. Kickoff for the game is set for noon ET.
