Hugh Freeze is going to have make some second half adjustments to beat No. 1 Georgia.

Freeze revealed what Auburn’s plans are for the second half in an interview before heading into the locker room. He said that the Tigers are going to have to start throwing the ball more and figure out protections against the tough Georgia defense.

“We’ve got a good plan. They have a really good defense… We’re going to have to throw it some too,” said Freeze. “They’re bringing pressure a lot, we’re going to have to figure out our protections.”

Auburn and Georgia ended the first half tied at 10. If the Tigers pull off the upset, it would be their first time beating the Bulldogs since 2017.

The Tigers were off to a 3-0 start this season before losing to Texas A&M 27-10 in Week 4.

Auburn looks to have bounced back from the loss and is playing the defending national champions close so far.

There are two more quarters to go in Jordan-Hare Stadium before this game will be decided.
