The Indianapolis Colts went heavy on offensive linemen in the first two rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft, selecting Notre Dame OL Quentin Nelson in Round 1 and Auburn OL Braden Smith in Round 2.

Now, the Colts have reached an agreement with the former Tiger, announcing his signing on Wednesday afternoon.

That means the Colts now have 10 of their 11 total draft picks under contract for the upcoming season:

Smith will be tasked with helping to improve the protection around star QB Andrew Luck, assuming Luck is healthy enough to start the 2018 season.

Either way, Smith could see some immediate playing time, as there are plenty of open jobs along the Colts’ offensive line.
