Martavious Collins, 4-star TE and Auburn target, sets commitment date

Martavious Collins is nearing a final decision in his recruitment.

The 4-star tight end shared on Thursday morning that he intends to announce his college decision on Friday. Here’s that statement:

Collins is a former Alabama commit and a Georgia native. He attends Rome High School in Rome, Georgia. He decommitted from the Crimson Tide back in February.

Collins has also been targeted by Florida State in recent weeks. He visited the Noles earlier this month.

If Auburn is able to land Collins’ commitment, he would be a major addition for the Tigers’ 2024 class. He’s currently ranked as the No. 507 overall player and the No. 50 athlete in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 241 pounds.

Auburn has 4 commitments so far in the class of 2024. Overall, the group ranks No. 24 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
