Report: Green Bay Packer, former Auburn lineman, Montravius Adams arrested in Georgia
This isn’t the offseason news the Packers want to hear.
According to a report from WMAZ in Georgia, Montravius Adams was arrested recently and is facing three charges — possession of marijuana, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended registration.
Adams was found with less than an ounce of marijuana during a traffic stop. He was originally pulled over for suspended registration and Adams had no proof of insurance on him during the stop.
The former Auburn lineman was then taken to Houston County jail for processing.
In his four seasons on the field for the Tigers, Adams registered 147 tackles, 10.5 sacks, two interceptions and 19.5 tackles for the Tigers. Following his playing career on The Plains, Adams was a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
The lineman has 37 career appearances in the NFL, with three starts.
Note to any player living in or visiting the state of Georgia. Right or wrong, you will get pulled over. Period. You better make sure you have everything in order, or just avoid the state all together.
Yep, after attending and playing at AU, going to areas where laws are enforced is a big adjustment.
Would have been a good troll except 1) He is from the state of Georgia and 2) UGA is the last fan base to be talking about players or former players getting into trouble..
Didn’t one of your alumni just get arrested for armed robbery? Sometimes it’s best that shut up and have people assume you are a stupid hypocrite than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. 3 misdemeanors against how many felonies?
Everyone’s throwing stones from their glass houses
The National Felon League rolls on…the comment about laws being enforced was spot on. I still hate Satan for getting his all SEC tackle out of felony charges in La. Bama and AU coaches will do anything to keep their players out of trouble.
I couldn’t care less about arrests for ridiculously insignificant infractions like these.
I’m with you. I don’t understand why the others are bickering back and forth. Every team has players who will make mistakes or commit crimes. This is a non-story comparatively and shouldn’t even be reported.
I lived in Houston County for almost 8 years as a civilian working for the AF at Robins AFB. Houston, pronounced like Howston instead of Huston, now has 3 high schools and auburn has had players from all 3.
