Report: Key Auburn defensive back set to declare for 2021 NFL Draft
It appears that new Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin will not have the services of one of the Tigers’ key defensive backs at his disposal in 2021.
Junior Christian Tutt has reportedly hired an agent and will forego his senior season to declare for the NFL Draft. The move was first reported by AL.com senior SEC reporter Matt Zenitz.
Sources: Auburn junior nickel back Christian Tutt is entering the NFL draft.
Has already signed with an agent and has already starting training for the pre-draft process.

The Thomson, Ga. product made 31 tackles, 1.0 for lost yardage, from his nickel spot in his junior season with the Tigers. He was also one of the top punt return men in the country as a sophomore, his 13.6 yards-per-return ranking 5th in FBS in 2019 and helping him gain All-SEC 2nd team honors as a specialist.
After leaving Auburn’s loss to Texas A&M with an injury on Dec. 5, Tutt was absent for the Tigers’ final 2 games: the win at Mississippi State and the loss to Northwestern in the Citrus Bowl.
