The Auburn Tigers started out a bit slow on the offensive side of the ball this year as QB Jarrett Stidham became more comfortable with the offense.

However, the Baylor transfer is hitting his stride now and Auburn is firing on all cylinders. In fact, the offense has a threat it hasn’t had in two years.

According to reporter Brandon Marcello, Stidham has completed at least one 50-yard pass in eight-straight games, while former starter Sean White didn’t complete a single pass of that yardage in two seasons:

WR Darius Slayton deserves a lot of that credit, too, as he’s usually the one catching Stidham’s bombs, but Stidham has certainly added a new dimension to the Tigers’ aerial attack.

If Auburn is going to beat the undefeated No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide in the Iron Bowl next weekend, Stidham is going to need to keep his streak alive.
