A former Auburn quarterback is reportedly looking at transferring for the third time in his college football career. Woody Barrett has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to Matt Zenitz of AL.com.

Coming out of West Orange High School, Barrett was rated 4-stars, the No. 6 dual-threat quarterback, No.31 recruit in Florida and No. 218 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2016 on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with Auburn over offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and others.

Barrett left Auburn in 2017, transferring to Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi. After his year at the JUCO level, he transferred to Kent State.

At Kent State, Barrett was the team’s starting quarterback for the 2018 season. Last year, however, he started only one game. This year, he has been the backup through four games.
