Kerryon Johnson and the Auburn Tigers are focused on getting a win over Georgia this weekend.

Auburn’s star running back and the Tigers are getting set for a tough matchup this week against Georgia. The Bulldogs have been on a roll on both sides of the ball, and their defense could pose a problem for the Tigers.

If Auburn is going to pull out a win Saturday, Johnson will likely need to put up a big performance. Johnson currently is ranked second in the SEC in rushing yards (868) while leading the league in rushing touchdowns (15).

The Tigers will need Johnson to come up big once again, but defense has been a key component of Georgia’s season as the team has climbed to the No. 1 spot in the College Football Playoff Top 25.

Nevertheless, Johnson made it clear on Monday that he is not intimidated by any team’s ranking:

“Who cares about the rankings,” said Johnson, “Never looked at ’em, and I won’t in the future.”

It sure looks like Saturday will be another great matchup in the rivalry. Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm EST on CBS.
