Cole Turner pulled in an outstanding touchdown catch for Clemson as the Tigers tied the game against Virginia Tech.
The Tigers and Hokies haven’t had too many highlights on Saturday, outside of a blocked field goal returned by Virginia Tech for a touchdown in the first quarter.
Neither team scored until just past the three-and-a-half-minute mark in the third quarter. With the Tigers facing a second-and-2 at the Hokies 29, Cade Klubnik took the snap, stepped back, and fired toward the left side of the field to Turner, who pulled it in with his back to the end zone while falling down.
Here’s video of how it happened:

It was the 22nd touchdown pass of the season for Klubnik, and Turner’s 4th TD of the year.
Clemson is looking to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive. The Tigers fell in their last outing, 33-21 to Louisville, dropping to 6-2 overall and 5-1 in the ACC.
After Saturday, the Tigers travel to Pitt before hosting The Citadel and South Carolina. They’ll likely need to run the table and win the ACC Championship Game if they’re to get to the Playoff, but a loss on the road to the Hokies could put an end to that discussion.
