Barry Odom
The Missouri Tigers named Odom their new head coach after long-time head coach Gary Pinkel stepped down.
A defensive coach with a long history of ties to the Missouri football program, Barry Odom took over the defensive coordinator role for Missouri in 2015 after several seasons coaching at Memphis.
Odom played at Missouri from 1996-1999 as a linebacker, and it was fairly obvious that Odom was the guy following Gary Pinkel stepping down at Mizzou.
It would be hard pressed to find a quicker rise to the top of a program than what Odom has experienced at Missouri.
