Wesley McGriff joined the Ole Miss staff after one year at Vanderbilt. McGriff is an experienced SEC defensive coach, and vaulted the Commodore secondary to one of the best in program history. Prior stops for McGriff include Miami, Baylor and Kentucky.
Gus Malzahn hired McGriff to coach the defensive backs for the 2016 season.
McGriff rejoined coach Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss following the 2016 season, where he has been named the defensive coordinator for 2017.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
