The 2023 NCAA baseball tournament is right around the corner! With the final weekend of the regular season wrapped up, teams now enter conference tournaments before finding out the final field of 64.

As for the SEC, most teams already have a good idea of who will be in and who will be out, but things could always change with someone making a deep run this week. In their latest projections for the NCAA tournament, D1 Baseball included 10 SEC teams to make the final field and 7 teams from the league as regional host sites.

Additionally, there are 4 SEC teams projected as top-8 seeds. Those teams would have the chance to host a Super Regional should they advance past the regional round.

Here is where D1 Baseball is projecting SEC teams to land in the tournament:

No. 2 Florida — Hosting Gainesville Regional

  • vs. Maryland, Kansas State and Central Connecticut

No. 3 Arkansas — Hosting Fayetteville Regional

  • vs. Indiana, Oklahoma and Maine

No. 4 LSU — Hosting Baton Rouge Regional

  • vs. Washington, Texas Tech and Nicholls

No. 7 Vanderbilt — Hosting Nashville Regional

  • vs. Duke, UC Irvine and Lipscomb

No. 9 Kentucky — Hosting Lexington Regional

  • vs. Indiana State, Notre Dame and Morehead State

No. 12 Auburn — Hosting Auburn Regional

  • vs. East Carolina, Troy and Alabama State

No. 14 Alabama — Hosting Tuscaloosa Regional

  • vs. Southern Miss, Arizona State and Samford

Texas A&M — At Austin Regional

  • vs. No. 16 Texas, Dallas Baptist and Loyola Marymount

Tennessee — At Coral Gables Regional

  • vs. No. 11 Miami, Kent State and Wright State

South Carolina — At Conway Regional

  • vs. No. 10 Coastal Carolina, NC State and UNC Wilmington
