8 SEC players projected to go in Round 1 of The Ringer’s latest 2021 NBA Mock Draft

The 2021 NBA Draft takes place on Thursday night, and when commissioner Adam Silver steps to the podium, he should end up calling several names of SEC players.

On Tuesday, The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor updated his Round 1 Mock Draft, and he included 8 SEC standouts on his list.

As you can see below, he has 2 players (Moses Moody and Keon Johnson) going in the lottery. Then, he has 6 additional SEC players going later in Round 1:

  • No. 10 — Moses Moody, G, Arkansas — Memphis Grizzlies
  • No. 12 — Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee — San Antonio Spurs
  • No. 17 — Cam Thomas, G, LSU — New Orleans Pelicans
  • No. 23 — Sharife Cooper, G, Auburn — Houston Rockets
  • No. 25 — Tre Mann, G, Florida — Los Angeles Clippers
  • No. 26 — Isaiah Jackson, F, Kentucky — Denver Nuggets
  • No. 27 — Jaden Springer, G, Tennessee — Brooklyn Nets
  • No. 28 — Josh Primo, G, Alabama — Philadelphia 76ers
