Report: 2 SEC men’s hoops teams set to participate in PK85 tournament in 2022

When Nike co-founder Phil Knight celebrates his 85th birthday, he’ll do so in style.
College basketball fans will remember the PK80 tournament from a few years ago, which was to celebrate Knight’s 80th birthday.
Now, according to college hoops insider Jon Rothstein, the field has been set for the PK85 tournament and it includes 2 SEC teams — Alabama and Florida:

The Crimson Tide and Gators will compete against some of the other top teams in the country, including North Carolina, Duke, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Villanova, Oregon and others.
Per Rothstein, the field is expected to be divided in half, with 2 8-team tournaments being played. It is set to take place in November of 2022 in Portland.
