On Wednesday, Dec. 29, the SEC opener between Florida and Ole Miss in Oxford was postponed due to COVID-19 issues in the Gators’ program.

That meant both teams had to wait until January to open their SEC campaigns. But, now, the game has received a makeup date.

As you can see below, the SEC announced the game will now be played at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 24:

With this game rescheduled, there are only a couple of others that need to be rescheduled in order to keep the league on track for a full conference schedule.

We’ll see if there are any more COVID-19 issues moving forward, but at least for now, this postponed game has a new date and time.
