The SEC men’s basketball standings received a big shakeup entering the final stretch of regular-season games.

Alabama had sole possession of the No. 1 spot for multiple weeks, but that changed Saturday. The Crimson Tide dropped to 11-3 in SEC play with a lopsided loss at Kentucky. Tennessee, meanwhile, improved to 11-3 with a blowout win over Texas A&M.

UT and UA are now tied atop the standings, with the Volunteers listed first. Here’s how the 14 teams stack up heading into the final two weeks before the SEC Basketball Tournament.

  • Tennessee – 11-3 SEC (21-6 overall)
  • Alabama – 11-3 (19-8)
  • South Carolina – 10-4 (22-5)
  • Auburn – 10-4 (21-6)
  • Florida – 9-5 (19-8)
  • Kentucky – 9-5 (19-8)
  • Mississippi State – 8-6 (19-8)
  • Ole Miss – 6-8 (19-8)
  • Texas A&M – 6-8 (15-12)
  • LSU – 6-8 (14-13)
  • Georgia – 5-9 (15-12)
  • Arkansas – 5-9 (14-13)
  • Vanderbilt – 2-12 (7-20)
  • Missouri – 0-14 (8-19)

The shakeup in the standings comes ahead of Tennessee and Alabama’s big game in Tuscaloosa. College GameDay will be at Coleman Coliseum on Saturday for the ESPN primetime game that could decide the regular-season title.

Both the Vols and Crimson Tide have Wednesday contests before Saturday’s showdown. UT can’t afford to look ahead with Auburn heading to Rocky Top. The Tide, meanwhile, face Ole Miss in Oxford.

With another week in the books, six teams remain in the mix for the four coveted double-byes in the SEC Tournament. South Carolina and Auburn currently round out the top four, but Florida and Kentucky are each only one game behind.
