Tennessee was set to received a No. 2 seed, or even a No. 1 seed following its championship run to capturing the program’s first SEC Tournament title since 1979. But then the NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed and the Vols received a No. 3 seed.

It got fans and media to wonder if the bracket was set earlier in the weekend, ahead of Sunday’s championship game.
