Bowl season kicks off on Friday as 4 teams begin postseason play starting with the Bahamas Bowl between Miami-Ohio and UAB from Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau.

The Redhawks and Blazers will kick off at 11:30 a.m. ET on ESPN.

Also on Friday, UTSA will face Troy in the Cure Bowl, which is set for 3 p.m. ET on ESPN from Exploria Stadium in Orlando.

In the Bahamas, both teams are trying to finish with winning records after gaining bowl eligibility with wins in their final regular-season game.

UAB recently hired Trent Dilfer, but he won’t coach in the game, instead it’ll be interim coach Bryant Vincent who led the team all season. The Blazers are playing for their third bowl win in 7 tries and second in a row. Miami is also going for back-to-back bowl wins and looking to finish the season with a third straight victory.

The Cure Bowl features a rare early bowl game between a pair of ranked teams, and something to consider is the winner of the only FBS bowl matchup featuring conference champions will finish on an 11-game winning streak.

Troy and UTSA both won 10 straight wins after they lost 2 of 3 to begin the season. The Trojans captured their first Sun Belt title since 2017 and the Roadrunners repeated as Conference USA champs.
