Cam Ward is the leader in the betting markets for the 2024 Heisman Trophy.

Ward entered the week at +300 to take home the award, per odds from FanDuel last Sunday. That trailed Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel (+230) and Colorado’s Travis Hunter (+270) while Ashton Jeanty (+440) was in the mix as well.

As of Saturday evening after all 4 of those contenders have finished up for the week, Ward is now the leader at +170, according to FanDuel.

Ward had a massive game against Duke on Saturday. He threw for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns in a 53-31 win over the Blue Devils. Ward now has 29 touchdown passes through the first 9 games of the 2024 season.

Hunter has moved up in the odds as well since Sunday despite Colorado being idle in Week 10. He’s now +220 to win the 2024 Heisman Trophy. The Buffs have a big game on the road at Texas Tech next weekend.

Gabriel has slipped slightly to +280 following Oregon’s 38-17 win over Michigan on Saturday. Gabriel accounted for 294 passing yards in Ann Arbor this weekend, but he only threw for 1 touchdown (although he did score another on the ground).

Jeanty has also dropped slightly to +460 but remains in the mix after his big game on Friday night. He rushed for 149 yards and 2 touchdowns in a win over San Diego State. Jeanty remains in pursuit of Barry Sanders’ all-time single-season rushing record with 4 regular-season games left to go.

Miami has not produced a Heisman Trophy winner since Gino Torretta in 1992.
