Kansas goes viral for in-game announcement to entire fan base against Oklahoma
The most surprising score in the early slate of Week 8 college football games comes to us from Kansas, where the Jayhawks led the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners 17-7 at one point.
Early in the fourth quarter, the score was 17-14 in favor of the home team, and that prompted an intriguing tweet from the Jayhawks’ Twitter account.
As you can see below, the Jayhawks sounded the alarm to their fan base, saying no tickets were required to come watch the ending of the game:
The gates are open on the east and west sides of David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, no ticket required.

The Jayhawks need all the help they can get, as Oklahoma took a 21-17 lead with 12:35 remaining in the fourth quarter.
