Kirk Herbstreit is taking a look back at Week 5’s slate of college football games. On Monday, he tweeted out the 7 teams he felt were the top performers.

One SEC team made Herbstreit’s list this time around, and that was Ole Miss. The No. 9 Rebels went to Lexington and came away with a 22-19 win to improve to 5-0 on the season. Next up for Lane Kiffin’s team is Vanderbilt on Saturday, followed by Auburn.

Clemson, UCLA, Oklahoma State, TCU, Wake Forest, and Georgia Tech were Herbstreit’s other top-performing teams from Week 5. Georgia Tech, for one, stood out as it upset a ranked Pittsburgh team on the road days after firing head coach Geoff Collins.

As for Clemson, it topped NC State at Memorial Stadium, while UCLA, in the midst of its best start in the Chip Kelly era, is now 5-0 after a 40-32 win over Washington. Oklahoma State’s road win over Baylor saw them receive a nod, while TCU turned in a surprising rout of Oklahoma in Fort Worth. Finally, Wake Forest bounced back from a disappointing double-overtime loss to Clemson in Week 4 in Winston-Salem by beating Florida State in Tallahassee.
