LOOK: Michigan perfectly trolls Ohio State for trying to trademark the word ‘The’

Interesting news came out on Wednesday regarding Ohio State. Formally known as “The Ohio State University,” the Buckeyes apparently tried last week to trademark the word “The” for clothing and hats.

ESPN reports the trademark request was filed last Thursday. Naturally, that report drew quite a reaction.

On Wednesday afternoon, the University of Michigan hilariously trolled the Buckeyes. As you can see below, they tweeted an image of the word “Of,” with a caption implying they’re trademarking that word:

Obviously, these two schools are major rivals, so it’s no surprise to see the Wolverines getting in on trolling the Buckeyes.

Now, we’ll just have to wait and see if Ohio State’s trademark request actually gets approved.
