There is plenty of debate about who is the greatest running back in SEC history.
There is no such drama about who is the greatest running back in Arkansas Razorbacks history.
It’s Darren McFadden, as easily said as it is for Hogs fans to believe Run-DMC was robbed of the 2007 Heisman Trophy.
McFadden ranks No. 1 and No. 2 on Arkansas’ single-season rushing list, but he’s not the only Hog who has ever surpassed 1,000 yards in a season.

Alex Collins is the only Hog who topped 1,000 yards three times in his career. Here is the complete list of Hogs who topped the 1,000-yard mark through Week 13 of the 2025 season, when Mike Washington Jr. joined the list (* denotes players who were not in the SEC at the time).
