Mizzou didn’t just run over Big 8 and Big 12 defenses throughout the course of its decorated football history.
In fact, Mizzou’s two most recent single-season record-holders set their mark in the SEC.
Here’s the complete history of every 1,000-yard rusher in Mizzou football history.
Missouri’s 1,000-Yard Rushers
Ahmad Hardy topped the 1,000-yard mark in Week 11 of the 2025 season, giving Mizzou its 9th 1,000-yard rushing season as an SEC member. Notably, Henry Josey ran for 1,000 yards in the Tigers’ final year in the Big 12 and second year in the SEC.
