Texas A&M has a rich history of running the football, a style that began long before the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012.
Entering the 2025 season, there have been 20 1,000-yard rushing seasons in Aggies football history.
Six Aggies have twice rushed for 1,000 yards in a season. Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel isn’t on that list, but he did set the Texas A&M record for most rushing yards by a quarterback, when he rushed for 1,410 yards in 2012, the year he won the Heisman.
Here is a detailed look at every Aggie who rushed for 1,000 yards in a season, entering the 2025 season.
Texas A&M’s 1,000-Yard Rushers
Six Aggies rushed for 1,000 yards in a season twice in their career. That includes Trayveon Williams, who set the single-season program record with 1,760 yards in 2018. Here’s every 1,000-yard rusher in Texas A&M football history:
