Travis Hunter is the new leader for the 2024 Heisman Trophy, per the betting markets.

After a Week 11 that saw multiple top-10 teams fall, Hunter has emerged as the Heisman favorite. He’s now listed at +120 to win the award, according to the latest odds from FanDuel.

Hunter helped lead Colorado to a 41-27 road win at Texas Tech on Saturday. He caught 9 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown in the win. On the defensive side of the ball, Hunter played 53 snaps per Pro Football Focus and was only targeted once.

However, the race is far from over. There are 2 other players not too far behind Hunter on top of the Heisman odds list. Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel is at +320 and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is +350.

Gabriel had another 3-touchdown game in Oregon’s win over Maryland this weekend. However, he only threw for 183 yards in that win.

Jeanty did lose a fumble in Boise State’s win over Nevada, but he also rushed for 209 yards and 3 touchdowns. He’s also still in pursuit of Barry Sanders’ all-time single-season rushing record.

Lingering behind that top 3 is Miami quarterback Cam Ward. The Hurricanes suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday, which knocked Ward all the way down to +800 in odds. Ward entered the week as a slight favorite to win the Heisman.
