4-star 2021 ATH Kamar Wilcoxson re-commits to Florida
After three months of looking around, Kamar Wilcoxson has pledged to the Florida Gators again.
The 4-star Stephenson (Stone Mountain, Georgia) ATH announced Saturday evening that he was once again committed to UF. Wilcoxson, who is expected to be a defensive back at Florida, initially committed to the Gators on Nov. 3, 2018, but backed off that pledge on April 27, 2019, a day after visiting Georgia Tech. In the time Wilcoxson was decommitted, South Carolina extended a scholarship offer.
Listed at 6-2, 190 pounds, Wilcoxson is rated the No. 18 Georgia product, No. 18 ATH and No. 219 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. He holds 24 scholarship offers. Earlier this month, Wilcoxson named a top 10 which included Florida along with LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Clemson, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia Tech and Ohio State.
Wilcoxson makes four commitments in Florida’s 2021 class. Pro-style QB Carlos Del Rio committed Friday night.
