After deciding to leave Florida this offseason, former five-star recruit Andrew Nembhard has made his decision when it comes to his next college basketball program.

The former Gator guard announced on Tuesday that he will transfer to Gonzaga to play for Mark Few. Due to current NCAA transfer rules, Nembhard will be forced to sit out the upcoming college basketball season — unless, of course, he receives a waiver to play immediately for Gonzaga.

In his two seasons playing for Mike White in Gainesville, Nembhard appeared in 67 total games and averaged 11.2 points, 5.6 assists with three rebounds a game for the Gators during his sophomore season.

Nembhard originally declared early for the 2020 NFL Draft but decided to withdraw his name from the league’s upcoming selection process. However, instead of returning to Florida for his junior season, the Canada native declared he would be transferring from White’s Florida program
