Florida will have the opportunity to clinch bowl eligibility when they host South Carolina on Saturday. However, Florida could be without a pair of receivers for the conference clash.

Florida head coach Billy Napier disclosed on Wednesday that receiver Ja’Quavion Fraziars will miss the game due to a shoulder injury. The sophomore saw his first action of the season last weekend in Florida’s 41-24 victory at Texas A&M. The 6-foot-4, 212-pound Fraziars caught 4 receptions for 50 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, Napier says that wide receiver Justin Shorter has been limited this week and is questionable for the game.

Shorter is 2nd on Florida with 21 receptions and first in receiving yards with 471. Shorter also is tied for the team lead with 2 receiving touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 223-pound junior is averaging 22.4 yards per catch. Shorter’s best game this season was when he caught 7 passes for 155 yards in Florida’s 38-33 loss at Tennessee on Sept. 24.

Florida’s win against Texas A&M snapped a 2-game losing streak, with those losses coming against LSU and Georgia.

Florida leads the all-time series 29-10-3 against South Carolina. South Carolina won last season’s meeting 40-17 in Columbia. Florida-South Carolina is slated for a 4 p.m. ET kickoff and will be televised on the SEC Network.
