Demarkcus Bowman, former Florida and Clemson RB, announces transfer destination
Demarkcus Bowman spent the 2021 season at Florida after transferring from Clemson following the 2020 campaign.
But, he failed to crack the rotation very much under coach Dan Mullen last year, getting only 14 carries for 81 yards and no touchdowns.
Recently, he decided to re-enter the NCAA transfer portal. On Monday, he took to Twitter to reveal he was committing to UCF and coach Gus Malzahn:

Malzahn and the Knights have brought in several transfers from the SEC recently. We’ll see if Bowman gets a waiver to play right away for UCF or if he has to sit out a year.
Coming out of high school, Bowman was a 5-star player in the 2020 recruiting class, ranked No. 3 overall in the running back rankings. We’ll see if he realizes that potential in Orlando this fall.
