Veteran Florida lineman Elijah Conliffe says his season is over
Elijah Conliffe’s season appears to have come to an end before it had a chance to begin.
The junior lineman recently posted a picture of his injured foot followed by another with the caption, “My season ova, so I gotta take it out on somebody,” on his personal Instagram page.
Conliffe appeared in 11 games for the Gators last season, registering 13 tackles and one fumble recovery during that time. He appeared in eight games during his freshman season for the Gators.
Florida released an official depth chart this week in anticipation for the Miami game and listed Conliffe as battling for the backup defensive tackle position with junior lineman Marlon Dunlap. Adam Shuler is listed as the team’s starter at defensive tackle in front of Conliffe and Dunlap.
