The Florida Gators have landed a quarterback for their 2022 recruiting class — a 3-star prospect out of Flower Mound, Texas.
If that sounds familiar, it is. Former Florida star QB and 2020 Heisman finalist Kyle Trask was also a 3-star prospect out of Texas.
This latest 3-star QB is Nick Evers. As you can see below, he announced via Twitter on Tuesday evening that he was committing to Dan Mullen and the Gators:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Evers is the No. 20 pro-style QB in the 2022 class and the No. 63 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
The Gators now have 3 players in their 2022 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 25 in the nation and No. 8 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
