The Florida Gators start their 2023 season tonight on the road against No. 14 Utah. This is a rematch of last year’s thrilling 29-26 win for the Gators in The Swamp, where quarterback Anthony Richardson had his introduction to the country type of game.

With Richardson gone to the NFL, Wisconsin transfer Graham Mertz will be making his first start for the Gators. Utah, meanwhile, will be without star QB Cam Rising.

Before the game, Florida dropped an intense trailer that is sure to have the Gators fans ready to go in this one.

This is a historic game for the Gators of sorts, as they have not played a regular season game West of Texas since 1983 when they traveled to take on USC.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, and the Gators will learn very quickly where they are at as a team.
