A few hours after Florida beat South Carolina 20-7 on senior day, one Gators senior didn’t seem all that happy.

Linebacker Daniel McMillian posted that tweet after seeing little playing time in Florida’s win. Even with upperclassmen linebacker Jarrad Davis and Alex Anzalone out for the game, younger players saw the field before McMillian.

He later clarified himself, indicating he harbored no ill will toward his teammates.

McMillian has been a reserve linebacker and special teams player during his entire career in Gainesville, surely not what he expected as a highly coveted recruit.

The Jacksonville, Florida, native was tabbed as a 4-star recruit and the No. 5 outside linebacker in the 2013 recruiting class, per 247Sports’ composite ratings. McMillian chose the Gators over an array of high-profile suitors including Alabama, Clemson and Florida State.
