Since September of 2017, 3-star DE Josh Griffis has been committed to the Florida Gators, but now it appears that time has come to an end.

On Wednesday, he announced that he was reopening his recruitment and would be looking at other schools.

As you can see below, Griffis announced his decision to decommit from the Gators via his Twitter account:

Per the 247Sports composite, Griffis, who plays for IMG Academy, is the No. 29 weak-side defensive end in the class of 2020 and the No. 84 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

The Gators’ 2020 recruiting class is now down to seven members. It currently ranks No. 3 in the SEC and No. 6 in the nation, per 247Sports.
