Florida picked up a big win on Saturday against the LSU Tigers, as the Gators won at the Swampy by a score of 27-16. The win was the first in the series for the Gators since 2018.

LSU coach Brian Kelly was already seen during the game getting after wide receiver Chris Hilton, and he has shown this year that his emotions run high after a loss.

The Tigers lost their opener this season to USC in a game that Kelly thought his team was couldn’t close out a game it should have. During his press conference after that game, Kelly showed his frustrations by smacking a table.

The Gators social media team pounced on the opportunity, and sent a response to the coach.

With the win, the Gators moved to 5-5 on the season now only needs 1 win in its last 2 game to make a bowl. Early in the year, a bowl game seemed like an afterthought as there were rumblings that coach Billy Napier may get fired at the end of the season.

However, the team has responded by winning 4 of its last 7 games.

The Gators will be back in action next week when they host Ole Miss, and will finish the regular season with a game at in-state rival Florida State.
