Florida is the host team of the 2022 SEC Softball Tournament. The Gators, though, were unable to secure a double-bye as one of the top 4 seeds. No. 5-seed UF is taking on No. 12-seed Texas A&M in Wednesday’s First Round. The Aggies defeated No. 13-seed South Carolina 5-3 on Tuesday in Gainesville.
Florida currently leads Texas A&M 4-0 in the bottom of the 4th inning. The game is airing on SEC Network.
The winner of UF vs. TAMU will advance to take on No. 4-seed Kentucky in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
