Former Florida WR carted off field at Denver Broncos' practice, per reports
Former Florida WR Tyrie Cleveland went to the Denver Broncos as a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Despite being chosen in the last round, Cleveland has managed to stick around the Mile High city and is now entering his third season in Denver.
But, unfortunately, his 2022 season might be done before it gets started, as multiple reporters tweeted that Cleveland had to be carted off at the end of Monday’s practice with an apparent knee injury:
Don’t want to guess what the issue is, but WR Tyrie Cleveland went down on what turned out to be the final play of practice, but then needed to be carted inside. Will keep you posted on severity.@KOAColorado #BroncosCountry

A bunch of teammates surrounded Tyrie Cleveland before he was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury.

New head coach Nathaniel Hackett had no update on Cleveland’s injury after practice. We’ll see what the news is in the coming days.
In his 2 years with the Broncos, Cleveland has 6 catches for 63 yards and no touchdowns.
Hope the kid can recover and be a productive player. I’ll never forget ‘The Catch” in the Swamp to beat the Vols.
One of the best special team gunners UF ever had. Hate that it happened on the last play of practice on top of it all. Get well Tyrie.
Yep…Always remembered for that and the 95+ yarder @ LSU. I was extremely happy for the guy making it to the league.
Best of luck young man.
