Former Florida WR Van Jefferson was getting a lot of buzz entering this season after the Los Angeles Rams took him in Round 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft.

However, entering Monday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he hadn’t quite lived up to the hype, recording only 10 catches for 136 yards in the Rams’ first 9 games.

But, on Monday Night Football, the former Gator snagged his first NFL touchdown, making a nice catch on a slant route and backing his way into the end zone:

The Rams hold a narrow 17-14 lead over the Buccaneers at halftime. Former SEC standouts Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette have Tampa Bay’s 2 touchdowns.

Jefferson only has that 1 catch so far. Will QB Jared Goff look his way more in the second half?
